Peat Moss & Coconut
Peat Moss is used in gardening to help soils and soilless mixes retain water. Peat Moss can also be used as a mulch on top of planters or pots to help retain water or as a decorative cover.
Coir fibers (Coco) are found between the husk and the outer shell of a coconut. The individual fiber cells are narrow and hollow, with thick walls made of cellulose. Brown Coir is harvested from fully ripened coconuts. Coco can be used as a soil amendment to add porosity and organic material to soils.
